MINI GOLF: We have introduced mini-golf to inculcate the current trend and the skill of Golf in our youngsters.
Learning continues in Bright Scholars Academy’s outdoor classroom, where the child explores the natural beauty and wonders of the outdoor world. There is emphasis on bringing about awareness of the real world and in particular, the child is encouraged to take care of and learn to understand and respect the natural world around them. Outdoor activities are designed to stimulate the growth and development of each child. Some of the activities you will find us doing with a child as part of their outdoor education are:
- Gross and Fine Motor Activities – sports and games, bikes, balls, etc. in order to build muscle co-ordination, balance, and healthy physical habits, as well as develop eye-hand co-ordination and strong finger dexterity.
- Co-operative Games - encouraging interaction, social skills and team building.
- Gardening – designing, germinating, planting, maintaining, harvesting, and even eating vegetation.
- Increasing a child’s opportunity for more sensory experiences.
- Increasing Social Responsibility and Good Citizenship – learning and caring about the environment, including appreciation of our land, air and water
- Science – learning about nature, our land, air, and water.
- Creating the ‘whole child’, socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually.
